The customers were thrilled when they saw Johanna’s garden layout at the table. Her idea of building a pergola at the back of the garden with screening elements to the neighbor and planting it with wild vines was the perfect solution. But there was a problem: the client’s budget was significantly exceeded. Johanna reacted immediately and pulled her joker out of her sleeve.

Johanna got the job even though the costs were significantly exceeded. She convinced her customers with her joker, the “perspective”. Actually, the joker wasn’t a perspective at all, but an isometric. This is much easier to learn because it is not so complicated.

Your joker to inspire your customers directly on site
Systematic and fun learning
I’ll explain every step of the way to the finished drawing. With our professional equipment, including two cameras and a large screen, you can watch me closely and follow along effortlessly. This makes learning not only fun, but also highly efficient!
Constructing garden elements spatially
At the beginning of the seminar, you will systematically learn how to spatially depict objects such as seat walls, pergolas, simple structures or curved elements. I will then show you how to develop three-dimensional drawings from garden floor plans and refine them graphically. Through intensive practice and close supervision, you will soon be able to apply the techniques presented effortlessly yourself.
Graphic representation
We practise the graphic development of vegetation, water, surfaces and buildings. Once the lines are in place, we will color the designs with colored pencils and markers. I will show you how to create different moods with colors to design plans that appeal to your customers.
Sketch garden ideas in a few minutes with the Zeichenwerk method!
Introduction to the quick sketch
In the course of the seminar, you will become increasingly confident in the spatial representation of simple garden situations. Now I will show you how to use the techniques you have learned for quick sketches. You will create spontaneous, dynamic drawings in just a few minutes.
The Zeichenwerk drawing method
Sketching garden ideas quickly has always fascinated me. But how do I teach my participants so that everyone succeeds?
About 25 years ago, I developed the isometric grid to transfer garden ideas from the ground plan to the spatial.
This was followed by the square method, which allows you to sketch a garden in just a few minutes.
New this year are the drawing booklets and blocks as a practical drawing aid for site visits. With these handy templates, you can put your ideas on paper directly at the customer’s premises.

You will receive ongoing individual feedback on your drawings during the webinar. This will help you to improve and develop during the webinar. How do I do this? I create a WhatsApp group exclusively for the webinar. You can post all the photos of your drawings in this group.
