After heating, the coarse dirt particles are first sieved out. Candle wax must be absolutely pure and free of impurities so that they burn beautifully. <br\/>Wax and added distilled water are heated together and whisked in the liquid stage using a drill with a stirring attachment. The pure wax is lighter than the water and floats on top. Once the wax has solidified, the wax block is tipped out of the bucket. Dirt can now be scraped off the underside. Wicks are dipped into liquid wax.
